What is GEN 2?
Gen 2 is the next generation of the Ailia Electric Hot Water Bottle, thoughtfully updated based on years of customer feedback and our own experience with the product.
The bottle has been refreshed inside and out, with upgraded internal components, a protective cage around the heating element, a smoother connection port area for improved comfort, and a more secure swivel port cover. We’ve also improved the Body Strap fastening and refreshed the charger design.
Gen 2 also introduces our new flexible kit system, with one neutral bottle colour and the freedom to choose your preferred accessories and colours.
At its core, it’s still the same Ailia you know, just thoughtfully evolved.
How does the Ailia Bottle work?
The Ailia Bottle works just like a traditional hot water bottle in how it delivers warmth. The only difference is how it heats up.
Instead of filling it with boiling water, the Ailia Bottle has a built-in electric heating element that safely warms the pre-filled water inside.
Simply plug the charger into the bottle while it’s resting on a flat surface and allow 8~12 minutes for it to heat up (the exact time depends on your environment temperature). The red indicator light on the charger will switch off once the bottle is ready.
Once heated, remove the charger and enjoy 1~6 hours of soothing warmth, again depending on your surrounding temperature and how it’s used.
After heating, the Ailia Bottle works exactly like a regular rubber hot water bottle. It releases heat gradually through its outer layers. There’s no ongoing electrical current, no “active” heating, and no magic.. just steady, comforting warmth from water that’s been heated internally rather than by a kettle.
WARNING - HOT WATER BOTTLES CAN CAUSE BURNS. AVOID PROLONGED DIRECT CONTACT WITH THE SKIN.
It is crucial to follow and understand the warnings on our label and owners manual. Read all product specifications here.
In short: the Ailia Bottle is designed to deliver the same comforting heat you know and love from a regular hot water bottle.. just in a safer, simpler, and easier way.
Can I use the Ailia Bottle regularly?
The Ailia Bottle is designed for convenient, everyday warmth and comfort. You may use it throughout the day, provided you allow it to cool to approximately 40°C before reheating.
Each heating cycle stops automatically at approximately 70°C. For gentler warmth, switch the charger off before the full heating cycle is complete.
For added comfort, use the bottle inside the Body Strap or Bottle Pouch, with at least one layer of clothing between the product and your skin. If it feels too warm, remove it and allow it to cool before using it again.
Take regular breaks and avoid prolonged heat on the same area of skin. Do not sleep with the bottle or apply body weight or pressure to it.
Important: The Ailia Bottle is intended to provide warmth and comfort only. It is not a substitute for medical assessment, diagnosis, treatment or advice.
How long does the heating last once I charge the Ailia Bottle?
The Ailia Bottle will emit 1-6 hours of heat (depending on your environment temperature).
Once the bottle has cooled down to the optimal charging temperature, simply plug the charger back on and in 8-12 minutes it'll be ready for another 1-6 hours of heat.
Will the body strap fit me?
The ailia body strap offers customizable adjustments to cater to diverse body types and sizes. This adaptability guarantees that the ailia bottle delivers optimal relief and comfort to a wide range of users.
The strap's design prioritises lightweight and practical wear, ensuring that you can comfortably go about your day while enjoying the benefits of the ailia bottle.
The body strap's length is 120cm and does not directly correspond to a specific clothing size because it is designed to accommodate various body shapes and sizes but approximately fits between sizes XS ~ XL at the waist.
It is intended to be adjustable and versatile, allowing users of different sizes to comfortably secure the hot water bottle in place. Therefore, the body strap is not specifically tied to a particular clothing size but rather provides a flexible fit for a wide range of individuals.
For additional room we offer an extension strap that adds an extra 30cm (of usable length, the extension strap is 60cm), the total length of the body strap can be securely extended to 150cm. This extension allows for further adjustability and approximately fits between sizes 2XL ~ 4XL at the waist.
The added flexibility ensures that individuals with different clothing sizes can effectively use the ailia bottle with the body strap, providing them with the desired level of comfort and protection.
